Mind Body Skills Group -
eight week series

Fridays from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm MDT with Elizabeth Haselwood, RN-MSN
New series dates to be announced - via Zoom

New theories in neuroscience now explain how stress causes very real changes in your physical and emotional health. Mind Body Medicine brings together these theories for the treatment of health problems that haven’t responded to traditional medical therapies: migraines, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue and chronic pain, to name a few. Using a curriculum designed by Dr. James Gordon at the Center for Mind Body Medicine in Washington, D.C., these group sessions empower participants with mind body tools that can alleviate symptoms and improve their stress-related physical and emotional health. Some personal sharing and a willingness to hear others share is a part of this group.

This group is offered online. Contact me to register. Fee $250. Sliding scale available. Please inquire.

Mind body coaching private sessions

with Elizabeth Haselwood, RN-MSN

The Pain Reprocessing approach as taught by Howard Schubiner, MD is an evidence-based, effective means of rewiring the brain to improve stress-induced symptoms like pain, anxiety, insomnia, and fatigue, among others. The hypersensitive brain often creates these symptoms as alarms to get our attention. By tending to them mindfully with kind attention and self-compassion, we are able to soothe our brain’s hypervigilance and train it to build neuropathways of safety, soothing, and peace. These individual sessions assist patients in learning and practicing the exercises offered, developing a personalized practice framework, setting reasonable goals, and deepening understanding of the work.
